Did you know that you have about 2-3 seconds once someone lands on your sales page to convince them to stay?
Crazy!
So how do you convince them within that time that your product or service is worth their attention?
There are so many elements that go into making a great sales page, with a lot of those elements being dictated by the price of the product or service on offer.
To help you see exactly what goes into the making of a great sales page for each price point I've compiled a short list of examples from our own in-house team for you to reference when building yours!
As if there's one thing we've learned over the past 6 years working with online businesses, it's how to create a bad-ass sales page.
So without further delay, let's jump in!
1. Supercharge Your Socials
Why This Sales Page Works:
- Excellent use of imagery within the hero section of the page ( working with a photographer has lots of benefits! ), but mostly how the images are tied into the social aspect of the product, with the Instagram mock-up surrounded by positive emoji reactions. Allowing the prospect to envision what the product is and the outcome of using it without having to read any of the copy!
- Long form, emotional driven copy digging into the pain behind the prospects need for such a product ( standing out in a busy and distracting online world! ) before delivering the solution AKA - Simons product!
- Tonnes of social proof and testimonials from industry experts and large influencers within the online marketing space
- Multiple levels of entry for the buyer with the use of silver and gold 'packages'
- Lots of visuals of Simon with professional imagery and a personal sign off underneath the packages section, very important if the product being sold is service based and delivered by one person!
- An extremely powerful 'for you, or not for you' section - this can work extremely well depending on your audience, basically telling people who you DO want to purchase this vs. who you don't ( HINT: No one wants to be qualified as someone who you DON'T want to work with! )
- FAQ section to address any and all answers that may not have been addressed within the page beforehand
- Consistent use of high contrast 'Call To Action' buttons to allow the prospect to click and navigate straight to the available packages on offer

2. TUT Trainer
Why This Sales Page Works:
- Immediately upon landing on the page you're met with the personality behind the product, accompanied by strong benefit driven copy detailing the offer available
- Great use of an 'as featured in' section, displaying big industry names, perfect if looking to quickly establish authority within your field
- Well structured sections with a good mix of both copy and professional imagery showcasing the product and the different variants of exercise it can facilitate for the user
- Lots of social proof throughout the page using both video and written testimonials from users and notable influencers within the fitness space
- Two tiers of entry for users
- A solid product guarantee, if you can it's ALWAYS better to offer the user a guarantee on their purchase and reverse the risk. Believe us when we say the increase in conversions because of this will FAR outweigh any returns that might come through due to an increase in overall sales!
- A 'what's included' section - excellent if offering a product with multiple parts, be sure that the prospect knows EXACTLY what they're purchasing so they can make an informed decision when buying
- Strong final bulleted Call to Action' section at the bottom of the page
- Consistently placed, high contrast 'Call to Action' buttons allowing the prospect to easily navigate to the pricing section

3. FitXPO
Why This Sales Page Works:
- Well structured hero section containing all the necessary info about the event ( what, where, when ) without the user having to scroll down to find out more, VERY important with event pages to establish these points in the hero section, you can always elaborate further down the page!
- Great use of statistics for increased social proof within the 'FitXPO at a Glance' section, powerful if wanting to quickly showcase the legitimacy of an event!
- Lots of testimonials dotted throughout the page from notable industry experts and business owners
- Visual display of all speakers and influencers attending the event
- Great use of a 'vertical scroll' section within the 'competitions' section ( great for displaying lots of info in a small space! )
- Timetables, event details, exhibitors and more - EVERY detail of the event clearly displayed on the page, a massively important aspect of any good sales page!
- FAQ sections to answer any and all questions that may not have addressed elsewhere on the page
- Consistent 'Call to Action' buttons through the page drawing the prospect quickly back to the point of purchase

4. Compass Fort Collins
Why This Sales Page Works:
- Great use of colors and patterns to break up the top section of the sales page
- The hero copy entices the reader to discover more about what the school has to offer, much like the school itself wanting to be marketed differently than the 'conventional' schools, with the copy emphasizes that message, creating intrigue and making the prospect more likely to scroll down the page to discover more
- Explainer video featured just beneath the hero section with accompanying copy ( everybody's different and consume media in different ways, when possible it's always better to offer different forms of media to broadcast your message!
- FAQ's to address any and all questions that may not have been addressed in the copy above
- Unique 'Call to Action' buttons consistently placed throughout the page

5. Mobile Video Mastery
Why This Sales Page Works:
- Great use of video content within the hero section of the page ( perfect if the personality behind the brand is confident and natural on camera )
- Not overly long in length like some of the other examples in this list ( we've found that this shorter style works better in European areas whereas longer works better in the US )
- Visually striking, great use of color, easy to read typography and with lots of visual references to the outcome of the course through the use of social media mock-ups and emoticons
- Well structured with each section being broken up into smaller pieces of content that can be easily consumed by the reader
- Consistent use of high contrast Call To Action buttons throughout the page
- FAQ's as standard to ensure all niggling questions can be answered so the prospect can make an informed purchase
